The Delawana Inn celebrates with the Just Add Water Festival

For Immediate Release
Honey Harbour, Ont., - Families are invited to immerse themselves in a fun-filled Muskoka celebration this May in two historic and scenic communities.
Parks Canada is celebrating 100 years of service in this area, a gateway to nationally significant Trent Severn Waterway and Georgian Bay Islands National Park. You’re invited to attend the action-packed three-day Just Add Water Festival May 27-29 with events at Port Severn and Honey Harbour, home to the renowned Delawana Inn Spa and Conference Resort.

Live music, historic tours and a marketplace atmosphere await visitors to these communities to help celebrate our rich history, beautiful scenery and raise money for charity at the same time. All you need to do is just add a little H20 and there’s no shortage of that!

The highlight is a free open air country music concert featuring Jason McCoy and Marc Ekins Band Saturday night at Port Severn, in aid of The Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre. Vendors will line both sides of Lock 45 all weekend long and the festival hits Honey Harbour Sunday. The Delawana hosts a community breakfast with boat rides to Georgian Bay Islands National Park giving a sneak peek into upgrades on the island. A marketplace throughout Honey Harbour will showcase artists, crafts and more.

A full slate of activities is in store for Delawana visitors Sunday. The Parks Canada mascot, a 16-foot inflatable beaver will be on hand at the Del welcoming visitors and available for you to have your picture taken with. Jeff Sinclair, the voice of boating at the Delawana, will be doing live radio broadcasts. At 1 p.m. the Del will host a free children’s show in the Huron Room, featuring Dickie Bird and the famous Wanakita Wellness Spa will be offering demos, nail art, treatments and give-aways. Guests staying at the Del can enjoy geocaching, pontoon boat cruises, use of their recreational facilities and onsite golf.

Enjoy this great spring community event by booking your stay at The Del with amazing special rates that offer accommodation, meals, activities AND the Saturday night Jason McCoy concert complete with transportation to and from the concert….all for only $150.00pp/nd.”

The resort is a 25-acre full service facility complete with spa, sports facilities, golf, restaurants and much more. Georgian Bay also boasts one of the richest sports fishing sites in the world.
